TISC’s 2023 season is starting up soon! Here are a few brief updates, with more details to follow later:
The first skate for 2023 is set for May 1st at the 400-meter track at Ken Cox Community Centre next to Father Redmond School & Humber College at Lake Shore and Kipling when our permit kicks in.
We are looking into adding a Thursday evening skate at a track near Dundas and Mavis in Mississauga
The Annual General Meeting will be held April 30th, in-person, near Queen Street and Britannia (Streetsville) in Mississauga. We will aim to offer the option to attend virtually as well.
We are hoping to host three events this year, much like the two successful and well attended events we held in 2022 (Roll The Stars, Roll A Fest).
We are relocating to Mississauga shortly and would like to explore professional training for roller skating/blading. My sons are roller skaters and I am keen that they continue their training in Mississauga. Could you please guide me to coaches or clubs that train professionals? Thank you in advance.
Great, come on out and skate with us!! torontoinline@yahoo.com
What time does the practice starts on Monday, May 1st?
Hi there, we are looking at rolling at 6pm, as long as it’s dry.
Where can I get information about the Thursday evening skate at a track near Dundas and Mavis in Mississauga? I would be interested in that.
Hi there- I think I responded via your e-mail. In case I haven’t, we are still looking into permits for permission to skate there. Once we get a thumbs up and go-ahead, I’ll publish more details. In short, it will be similar to Mondays- group skating, technique, tactics, and race strategies. I hope this helps!
